THIS IS COMING ALONG NICELY!!!!!
Hello there! It's been a good minute since I've really offered an update on what's been going on, so I thought for full transparency, I should let everyone know what's going on and what plans may be down the road for the channel and music & blah blah blah! Let's begin.
First, THE INDIE POP GAMING MIXTAPE!!! The project itself is starting to get closer and closer to completion, with the only thing being mostly left over to do for most songs is finalize lyrics and record them. Singing is not really my strongest skill, so sorry if there are some rough vocals on the final project!!! I'm trying to make it as good as possible, and every track except for one is like at least 70% done...so that's good! While I don't have a lot of time to do promo, I'll still see if I can do some over the coming months for the six tracks that will come out with the project. But yeah, the project is out on 2/28, and the cover art will be out 2 days from when you are reading this. The preview image shows that one of these songs will be the longest fully self-composed ele song...errr...ever? That's highly exciting, and I hope to see all of you in shock when it drops...yknow...because you'll be so floored by it that you'll drop 4 dollars to purchase it on bandcamp hopefully...oh yeah it'll be 4.50 to pick up the whole project.
I guess I should explain my thinking about the pricing of my projects. I only really price my projects at the price I think they are worth, which is why you've seen a lot of my earlier projects either drop in price or become free to download all together. I don't really feel good charging a dollar for an EP I made when I had little music making experience when only one song from The Indie Pop Gaming Mixtape is so much better and so much worth that dollar.
Moving on, let's talk streams. They are for sure coming back quite soon, and I'll be trying to wrap up the Silksong Forever series very soon, at least within the month of February for now. I don't know how many more episodes it will take to complete the game through Act 3, but I want to be able to say I 100%ed a save slot (NO STEEL SOUL OR INFECTED ENDING FOR NOW, I WILL DIE!!!). I will say, I am very discouraged by just how bad a lot of the Silksong streams have done, which is not to say I'm going to stop doing them, I love them and are honestly the best streams the channel has had yet. However, I would like to try to figure out why the series just never caught on as well as even just regular streams or the Undertale/Deltarune series. I may not stream too regularly after Silksong Forever ends for my own reasons, but that's something to touch on later.
Lastly: Videos. I know, I know, you're tired of me talking about these, but I do actually have a concerning amount of videos that are in pre-production, and two of them may be done by April??? I know, unheard of in the ELE universe! I'm not going to say too much about them yet, as they are still early in production, and the other videos I had originally done ended up being canceled due to their timing just not making sense anymore. However, these videos are less on a harsh time limit, and so hopefully these will not become victims of that!!!
That's about it. School's been busy, alongside living life, so don't expect much more in February other than The Indie Pop Gaming Mixtape, some streams, and if I have enough time, maybe one more single??? We'll see, but thank you for your time. XOXO, ELE <3
